CPR & First Aid Training

The LCCA is holds CPR & First Aid Training Classes on a regular basis. Please contact us for the next available class if you need CPR & First Aid Certification.

2019 Cheater’s Cup Golf & Cornhole Tournament

2019 Golf Web Banner1The LCCA hosts an annual one-of-a-kind golf tournament that is the event of choice for light-hearted golfers and non-golfers alike. We are adding a Cornhole tournament to this year’s event. This highly anticipated event is limited to just 18 teams of four, each team plays 9 holes of golf followed by a cornhole competition. No matter whether you sponsor or play, the “Cheaters Cup” presents an outstanding marketing and networking opportunity that reaches a large diversified group of members and guests. Proceeds benefit the LCCA Scholarship Fund.

BIAW’s award-winning Education program provides our members with opportunities to learn about relevant topics and gain new skills to improve your business and processes.

Class Offerings and Schedule

To register, view our upcoming class schedule. Classes are offered in a variety of formats, including online and in-person. Please note: Due to Department of Revenue regulations, you must be invited to participate in BIAW class offerings. BIAW classes are not open to the general public.

BIAW Certified Builder

BIAW designed the Certified Builder designation with home building leaders in mind. It not only creates a legacy of responsibility for those whose work experience and business practices exceed Washington state standards, but it also propels their business to a new level of recognition and reward.

Drop in anytime between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM for a COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST with a presentation and door prizes. Come learn about new features for submitting 811 tickets, updates on WA’s enforcement process, and proposed changes in the dig law. Spend time exploring exhibits to learn the latest in safety and rental equipment, utilities safety, and upcoming projects.

The LEGO® Build Competition for children ages 5 through 12 will be held during the Home Garden & Leisure Show Saturday March 16th, 2019 at the Cowlitz County Expo Center. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded among two age groups.

EPA Certified Lead Renovator Training

EPA Lead Renovator Class PostcardNovember 8th, 2018

Anyone disturbing more than 6 sq. ft. (interior) & 20 sq. ft. (exterior) of lead-based paint must get the training. Including; Home Improvement/Renovation Contractors, Remodelers/Carpenters, Painters, Plumbers, Electricians, Maintenance Personnel, Residential Property Managers/Owners, Workers Removing or Modifying Painted Surfaces. Activities that are subject to the RRP Program: Remodeling and Repair/Maintenance, Electrical Work, Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry and Siding/Window Replacement! To become a Certified Renovator, you must have someone from your firm take an 8-hour course with a hands-on component. Your firm must then apply for Certification with the Department of Commerce as a Firm (company) and pay a $25 fee directly to the State of Washington (not included in the cost of the class).
